Cinegy and Dogan TV Holding: Shortlisted for the IBC2008 Innovation Awards, for Content Management

 Cinegy is delighted to announce their successful inclusion in the shortlist for the 2008 IBC Awards for Innovation, in the category for Content Management category, for their innovative digital production workflow at Dogan TV in Turkey.Cinegy was selected from a pool of over 50 entries from more 20 countries demonstrating some of the most exciting and innovative technology in the industry. Dogan TV Holding is Turkey’s largest media group, and all of its over 40 TV channels use Cinegy from end-to-end of the ingest, archive, production, as well as broadcast automation and playout processes.

cinegy workflow comprises of ingest, asset management and non-linear editors for the realization of a tapeless, collaborative management of metadata and archival of digital content.  It is a fully integrated, end-to-end production solution that uses non-proprietary IT hardware and standard software.The innovative technology behind cinegy workflow enables flexibility and scalability for broadcast stations leading to more efficient TV production, enhanced return on investments, and enables greater competitive advantage to operations.

The scale and scope of the cinegy workflow  solution at Dogan TV is one of the largest, if not largest, tapeless production workflow systems in the world, with over 500 concurrent seats of production and editing clients, with dozens of tapeless ingest and playout channels, and  constitutes the backbone of Dogan TV's technical infrastructure.

The IBC Awards for Innovations were first introduced in 2006 and since then have proved to be an exciting and closely fought competition.
