LAS VEGAS—18 April 2009—At the 2009 NAB Show, Cinegy announces that it is partnering with Microsoft to deliver workflow, digital asset management and archive solutions for the broadcast and media industry. Cinegy’s Cinegy Workflow is used by broadcasters worldwide to acquire, produce, playout and archive digital media content. Cinegy products currently employ Microsoft Windows 2008 Server Enterprise, Microsoft SQL 2008, Microsoft .NET 3.5 and Microsoft Silverlight 2.0. Through its partnership with Microsoft, Cinegy will soon add support for Silverlight 3.0 and SharePoint 2007. Cinegy is demonstrating the latest version of Cinegy Workflow at the 2009 NAB Show (Booth SU3121). It is also launching two new companion products, Cinegy Connect and Cinegy Monitor. Cinegy’s solution helps small production houses and international broadcasters alike to streamline everything from production to multi-platform delivery. Cinegy Workflow is an integrated, all-in-one solution for media workgroups. The PC-based platform consists of a suite of tools, applications and open APIs encompassing every aspect of television production including ingest, logging, storyboarding, editing, post production, play-out and media archiving. The platform is entirely based on standard IT hardware and non-proprietary storage technology. It is also modular and scalable; it can be applied to a wide variety of production environments of differing size, scope and purpose.
