During ingest session the following error appeared several times: "The specified network name is no longer available" and the ingest was stopped

Answer

If you need a stable long-term ingest, a stable network connection must be available. There is no buffer during the ingest in the Cinegy Desktop ingestor component, the data is being stored on the shared storage directly. If the network is configured properly, this does not happen. Check if there are any 3rd-party tools or application installed (like antivirus etc), which could block the network access for a while.

If you need the "buffered" ingest, you can use the Ring Buffer ingestor.
