This area of the developer information portal is dedicated to the new web services shipping with Cinegy Archive Services.
We are currently working hard to make sure our web services provide an powerful but accessible mechanism for 3rd parties to harness the power of the Cinegy Archive database system, and we are happy to offer the first versions of some sample projects showing off how to perform some of common tasks against the database.
The sample code comes with a Visual Studio 2010 project, and should work fine in the free C-sharp 'Express' edition of Visual Studio.
They have been tested against the shipping v8.5.5/8.5.6 version of Cinegy Archive Services (CAS), and are pre-configured to communicate with the Cinegy internet-facing demo system. Availability of this system is subject to change, and is provided just to help people test their projects and move to a local instance of CAS as soon as possible.
Please note, you will require a developer license to connect to the CAS system - please contact Этот e-mail адрес защищен от спам-ботов, для его просмотра у Вас должен быть включен Javascript to arrange a free trial license for testing out these interfaces!

Before there were the web service interfaces, 3rd parties could integrate to Cinegy Archive via the Cinegy MAM COM Objects. This provided a fast, efficent method for developement, and was the preferred mechanism for both 1st and 3rd party integration.
However, the current recommended model for communication is via the more flexible web services (Cinegy Archive Services). This documentation is provided for customers that have already produced an integration with this older model - we do not recommend any new projects are started using this interface (we are not using these interfaces internally for new work either - CAS is the future!).
